We’re Incorporating!

We’re excited to let you all know that Stansons Group are becoming a limited company from the 1st September 2020! Stansons have had a limited company since November 2017 and we are now incorporating our 43 year old partnership, G, KP, R, & S Stanley t/a Stansons Group, to become Stansons Group Ltd.

The word ‘limited’ has a number of connotations. ‘Limited edition’ connotes value and exclusivity, limited space or availability can mean that something is so good it’s going quickly. Occasionally, it can also bring negative vibes – the actual definition of the word is restriction. But, as Companies House helpfully puts it on their blog, ‘being limited can be really useful: speed limits, credit limits and the term of office of a US President.’

All joking aside, we are really excited about this next step, and believe it to be a very positive move. There are many advantages to this new trading entity. It brings security and validates our professionalism, and credibility as a company. It is also beneficial for our staff, clients and suppliers, too!

Becoming a limited company has grown in popularity over the last few years, as people have begun to see its benefits.

Limited companies were the fastest growing last year with an 8% increase compared to a 2% increase for sole traders.’

We have seen these benefits ourselves, and decided to join the ever-growing number of limited companies in the UK.

To share and engage with others is one of our core values, which is important for us to keep in mind at every stage of our process. This became a big reason for our decision because being a limited company will allow us to be more open and transparent as a business, as all information regarding Stansons Group Ltd will be published on the Companies House website. The open nature of a limited company allows us to demonstrate our expertise and trustworthiness to our clients, suppliers and team, so that they feel looked-after and unified. This ties in with another one of our core values – people come first! All of this together allows us to nurture a reputation that is closely backed-up by the excellence of our work.

Another one of our core values is that ‘we evolve’. We promise to ‘actively seek out improvements, always looking to innovate’, and that is exactly what we are doing here, as we truly believe that this will help to improve our service, teamwork, and reputation.

So, don’t panic, nothing will change drastically. In fact, nothing in our day-to-day activities, staff, processes and accreditations will change at all, and all of our current clients and suppliers will be informed of any admin changes when the process is fully completed. In the meantime, we are
very excited to take this step as Stansons Group Ltd. and continue to help you design and create exceptional spaces, ahead of schedule.
