The Science Museum

The controls and blinds for this project was a comprehensive package including the supply, installation and commissioning of;

1. Armour premium roller blinds in;
   • 1% Mermet screen fabric to the South Elevation
   • 5% Mermet screen fabric to the North Elevation
2. Internal and external light sensors to track the Sun’s path
3. Radiation sensors to track solar gain
4. Customised control panel with Science Museum graphics
5. Data cables and power supplies

Intelligent BMS controlled roller blinds at The Science Museum were installed. The suns position and solar gain is tracked and calculated via radiation sensors, external and internal light sensors then automatically operates the roller blinds to keep the new public medicine gallery at optimal conditions. As part of the commissioning, controls and blinds package the blinds are connected to a WiFi enabled, custom, onsite control panel providing live fault and maintenance tracking from our head office.
