Aug 02, 2017
Stansons Group are delighted to have recently been awarded the window shading package for Claremont place, Newcastle, in partnership with Hornbury Joinery. This multi-million-pound student accommodation development is situated in the heart of Newcastle and was acquired by main contractor Empiric Student Property Plc.
“Newcastle is an ideal target city for Empiric – an exciting student city with two popular universities. Newcastle University, which attracts some 23,000 students from around the world and Northumbria University, one of the largest universities in the UK, is a research-rich, business-focused institution with over 28,000 students.”
Paul Hadaway, Chief Executive of Empiric Student Property Plc
The beautiful historic grade II listed property has been developed to a high specification and comprises 88 self-contained studio apartments of varying sizes, over half of which are suitable for double occupancy.
Stansons Group are very familiar with Empiric specifications and have the perfect shading solution to suit the requirements of modern student living.
An Armour double roller blind system, using intelligent fabrics, was the ideal solution for this contemporary student accommodation. Utilising both black-out and mesh fabrics within the system enables a multi-functional environment for these high-end units.
“We continue to develop our strong working relationship with Empiric and are very pleased to be working with Hornbury Joinery in providing Newcastle’s students with high-end accommodation".
