Vibrant shading to add stylish spice to a Mexican chain

ChimiChanga is a well-known chain of Tex-Mex restaurants found all over the UK. They specialize in a high-octane mix of fun, lively staff, exciting cocktails and vibrant Texan/Mexican food. To match this atmosphere, Stansons were called in to produce a roller blind shade solution in a range of exciting colours.

Adding more atmosphere to unique restaurants

ChimiChanga say their colourful outlets make them Britain’s burst of sunshine. With a unique design for every restaurant, they can be found in Glasgow down to Southampton, from Cardiff to Canterbury with five in and around London. The fact that each restaurant was different, meant that a ‘one size fits all’ approach would not work for window shading. The varied nature of the sites meant that there was a tremendous variety in size and shape of the windows, making for a challenge in logistics - as well as shading.

The Stansons' solution

Working closely with ChimiChanga’s interior designer, Stansons’ solution was to produce a range of bright ChimiChanga Red and ChimiChanga Orange Armour roller blinds of the highest quality. Each blind was installed on the Armour BackBar fixing profile, which reduces point loadings at each fixing. This guaranteed a safe and long-lasting installation that added excitement to the restaurants whilst reducing solar glare and maintaining energy efficiency. Liaising closely with the design and local management team, the Armour blinds were designed and installed in record time.

Feeling the ChimiChanga effect from the street

ChimiChanga felt that Stansons blinds now became a colorful addition to the restaurants’ kerb appeal: a colourful and exciting feature that invites the customer inside. However, Stansons ability to work with the design team to realise the exact colours and to manufacture, deliver and fit the blinds in so many diverse locations was also praised. A vibrant example of Stansons’ ability to meet the creative and logistic challenges with equal verve.
