9 Dallington Street, London, EC1

A historic building bought for circa £400 million

Situated in trendy Clerkenwell, North London, is Fora Space, a coworking office for professional men, women and entrepreneurs. Stansons were invited to provide modern shading solutions that would complement the organisation’s visionary aesthetic of contemporary hotel-style furnishings, sleek design, and modern office facilities.

£400 million historic building

9 Dallington Street is one of at least eight historic buildings bought with an estimated £400 million by Fora Space. ‘Fora’ is Portugese for ‘out’; an appropriate word as these shared spaces provide a much-needed base for people to work, socialise, focus, and network with like-minded individuals.

Project overview

The flexible workforce is based over several floors, with premium work stations, resident lounges and rooftop terraces that offer stunning views of the city. Faithdean were the contractor responsible for the demolition, construction and refurbishment of the area; this included creating a 5th floor when there were previously only 4, an event space, reception, café and courtyard.

BlindBox™ and blinds package

Faithdean specified Armour Blindbox and Armour Premium Roller Blinds to enhance the deluxe pro-working space. With plenty of natural lighting, the blinds encouraged optimum light levels, brightness and created a luxurious yet ambient office space centred within the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Working together

This exemplary project flourished with the help of Fora Space, Faithdean, Stansons, Heyne Tillett Steel, MTT Limited and Veretec.
